What About the Rights of Children?

Old Moonbeam is at it again. First, he pledged to uphold California's constitution and uphold the will of the voters. Now, he's saying Proposition 8 violates the "Declaration of Rights" clause in Article I, Section 1 of the state's constitution. But what about the rights of children?
The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child has stated that in all actions concerning children, "the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration."
In considering fundamental rights, Attorney General Jerry Brown is ignoring the fundamental right of children to have a mommy and a daddy. And he is putting the desires of adults ahead of the rights of children.
